PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles man pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree robbery with firearm enhancements and has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Justin J. Radisich, 30, pleaded guilty to robbing the Dollar Tree store in March 2024.
Clallam County Superior Court Judge Simon Barnhart accepted the plea offer on Wednesday and sentenced Radisich to 15 years followed by 18 months of community custody.
The convictions are both Class A felonies.
Radisich was ordered to register as a felony firearm offender upon his release, and lifetime protection orders were issued for the employees at Dollar Tree.
“This was a very traumatic event for the employees, one which changed their lives forever,” said Michele Devlin, chief criminal deputy prosecuting attorney, in a press release.
At about 8:10 p.m. on March 18, 2024, Radisich entered the Dollar Tree store, held two employees at gunpoint and demanded money. After he received an undisclosed amount of money, he left the scene in a stolen vehicle.
Afterward, the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigation Bureau worked to identify Radisich.
Once information about the robbery was provided on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, an anonymous tip said the person resembled Radisich, according to the probable cause report.
A DNA analysis of items collected in the case was provided last August and October, according to court documents. Those reports said Radisich’s DNA was on paraphernalia found on the seat of the stolen vehicle used in the robbery, the mouthpiece of a plastic bottle, which was discarded, and the steering wheel of the stolen vehicle.
Radisich was previously convicted of seven felonies, including possession of a stolen firearm, first-degree possession of stolen property, two counts of second-degree theft and theft of a motor vehicle. He also has 11 gross misdemeanors on his record, according to court documents.
