BLYN — A Marysville man was arrested at the 7 Cedars Casino on Saturday after an alleged crime spree that left him with a gunshot wound in the left buttock, the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Conrad J. Edwards, 42, was charged Monday in Clallam County Superior Court with possession of a stolen vehicle and third-degree theft. He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
Investigators learned that Edwards had assaulted a man in Lakewood and had been shot in the buttock upon leaving the scene, according to Chief Criminal Sheriff’s Deputy Brian King in a Tuesday news release.
Edwards was treated by Clallam Fire District No. 3 medics and Olympic Medical Center staff before he was booked into the jail early Sunday. He is being held on $10,000 bail.
“A law enforcement teletype has been sent out to Washington state law enforcement asking for information on the shooting,” King said in a news release.
“The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in any information about Mr. Edwards’s series of criminal activity, specifically his involvement in an assault and gunshot injury.”

According to a timeline provided by the Sheriff’s Office, Edwards gave a ride to a man he had met at the Tulalip Resort Casino near Marysville to 7 Cedars Casino.
When they stopped for gas at the Longhouse Market & Deli in Blyn, Edwards left with the man’s backpack.
Edwards and the stolen vehicle were spotted by casino staff later Saturday.
Deputy Don Kitchen detained Edwards as he was leaving the casino.
Edwards was arrested for a state Department of Corrections warrant for escape from community custody.
He had failed to check in with his community corrections officer, King said.
“The vehicle that Mr. Edwards was driving was determined to have been stolen out of Snohomish County,” King said.
“A search warrant executed on the vehicle resulted in the recovery of most of the victim’s personal property.”
