PORT ANGELES — A Forks woman has been sentenced to more than four years in state prison for a burglary that occurred at Forks Outfitters in September 2015, Clallam County prosecutors announced this week.
Rachelle Dova Cabe, 30, was sentenced to 51 months on a second-degree burglary charge after a stipulated bench trial in Clallam County Superior Court.
The sentence, which was issued by Clallam County Superior Court Judge Erik Rohrer on March 23, will be served consecutively with another 51-month sentence Cabe received for felony charges in Kitsap County, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Forks police said Cabe was observed on surveillance video stealing items from Forks Outfitters on Sept. 21, 2015, according to the affidavit for probable cause.
Cabe had a lifetime trespass notice from Forks Outfitters based on previous allegations of shoplifting, prosecutors said.
“This made her entry into the store with the intent to steal unlawful and therefore a burglary,” Prosecuting Attorney Mark Nichols said in a news release.
Cabe was approved for Clallam County Drug Court in May 2016, court papers said.
A nonviolent offender who stays sober for at least a year and completes the stringent requirements of drug court is eligible to have the original charge or charges dismissed.
Cabe’s drug court participation was terminated March 10 after she was sentenced in Kitsap County for second-degree burglary and second-degree theft, Clallam County prosecutors said.
Her criminal history includes four prior burglaries, drug possession, theft, trespass, assault and bail jumping, prosecutors said.
Cabe was being held Wednesday at the Washington Corrections Center for Women in Gig Harbor.
