PORT ANGELES — An arraignment hearing for Deanna Marie Wilson was reset Friday because of new evidence in her case, Clallam County Superior Court records show.
Wilson, 41, is facing multiple counts of sex and animal cruelty charges for alleged, separate crimes involving a 15-year-old boy and Wilson’s pet dog.
Wilson’s arraignment was rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. next Friday after Chief Criminal Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Michele Devlin announced new discovery and additional charges, according to the minutes of the hearing.
No new charges had appeared in Wilson’s court file as of 9 p.m. Friday.
Port Angeles police allege that Wilson provided alcohol to minors and had sexual contact with the boy at her Port Angeles residence Oct. 6.
Police allege that Wilson recorded the incident on her cellphone and sent naked images of the alleged victim to one of his friends.
Police say a forensic examination of Wilson’s cellphone revealed images of Wilson having sexual contact with her dog May 4 and Oct. 1, according to a supplemental arrest report.
Wilson was charged last Monday with third-degree child rape, first- and second-degree possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, second-degree dealing in depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, two counts of first-degree animal cruelty for sexual contact, two counts of first-degree animal cruelty for photographs or films and a single count of furnishing liquor to minors.
She is being held in the Clallam County jail on $100,000 bail.
The dog was taken to the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society after Wilson’s arrest, Officer Sky Sexton said.
