ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Military Writers Society of America awarded a gold medal to John Nutting for his book “The Court-Martial of Corporal Nutting: A Memoir of the Vietnam War” at a dinner Sept. 14 in Albuquerque, N.M.
Nutting, a Port Angeles resident, recounts his experiences as a marine in Vietnam in the memoir.
His award is one of three gold medals in the Memoir/Biography category.
