Peninsula food banks among nine to benefit from ‘Shred’ fundraisers

PORT ORCHARD — The Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Sequim food banks were among nine food banks that benefited from recent From Shred to Fed fundraisers sponsored by Kitsap Bank in September and October.

According to a press release, the events raised more than $30,000 in cash donations.

In addition to the Clallam County nonprofits, the program supported the following Kitsap County food banks: Bremerton Foodline, Central Kitsap Food Bank, Fish Food Bank, Helpline House, North Kitsap Fishline and South Kitsap Helpline.
