Peninsula College department receives marketing, public relations award

FRIDAY HARBOR — Peninsula College’s Marketing and Communications Department was recognized at a district conference of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations on Oct. 24 in Friday Harbor.

The department received a gold Medallion Award for print advertising, a silver award for its “Areas of Study” rack cards and a bronze award for its computer-generated illustrations.

The council is a professional development association for communications and public relations personnel at two-year colleges.
