Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau seeks applications for tourism project grants

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau is seeking applications for qualified tourism project grants.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday, July 12; applications will be considered at the bureau’s July meeting.

The board is interested in funding projects primarily targeted to off-peak season activities within Clallam County.

“Our goal is to help develop a more year-round tourism base, to better contribute to a healthy local economy, supporting local spending, tax generation and local jobs,” said Marsha Massey, OPVB executive director.

Funds for these grants are derived from lodging tax revenues in unicorporated portions of Clallam County.

Grant guidelines and applications are available at www.olympicpeninsula.org/industry.

For more information, call Massey at 360-452-8552.
