Olympic Medical Center hires new chief nursing officer

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Medical Center has announced that Ralph Parker has been hired as chief nursing officer.

Parker will oversee all of the center’s nursing units, including the emergency services department.

Parker joins OMC from Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins, Wyo., where he was the chief nursing officer/chief clinical officer.

Parker replaces Lorraine Wall as chief nurse. Wall will continue as chief operating officer until she retires in October.
