PORT ANGELES — The commissioners of Olympic Medical Center recognized three members of the center’s respiratory therapy staff at a recent board meeting.

Ericka Albers, Carolyn Frummet and Devin Jackson were presented with awards by Dr. Scott Kennedy, the center’s chief medical officer.

“Although the entire respiratory therapy staff is routinely involved in life-saving work, I would like to take a moment to recognize these staff members for their most recent efforts,” Kennedy said.

Respiratory therapists manage care for patients with breathing problems and lung issues.
