New chair appointed to First Federal board

PORT ANGELES — Cindy Hill-Finnie of Port Townsend has been appointed to chair of the board of First Fed.

Hill-Finnie, who was advanced from her vice chair position, is the first woman to head the bank’s board of directors.

Hill-Finnie has a long history of community involvement, having previously served with Centrum Foundation, Washington State Arts Commission, Fort Worden Public Development Authority, Jefferson County Community Foundation, Port Townsend Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and Fort Worden Foundation.

She is replaced as vice chair by Jennifer Zaccardo of Port Angeles; the previous chair, Steve Oliver, will continue to serve on the board.
