PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson Healthcare has been recognized by the American Heart Association for its efforts to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and strokes.
The network earned gold-plus achievement awards for the AHA’s Get with the Guidelines Stroke and Get with the Guidelines Heart Failure programs and silver achievement awards for the Get with the Guidelines Atrial Fibrillation program.
Hospitals must comply with the latest research-based treatment guidelines to earn Get with the Guidelines awards.
Silver awards recognize adherence to standards over a period of 12 consecutive months; gold awards recognize consistent performance over a 24-month period.
