PORT TOWNSEND — Women’s Choice Award has named Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Outpatient Experience.
Jefferson Healthcare is one of only 294 hospitals nationwide to receive this award.
The award recognizes patient satisfaction with ambulatory surgery services and outpatient visits.
According to the Women’s Choice Award website, the ratings are based on responses to the Outpatient and Ambulatory Surgery Survey (OAS-CAHPS) with more weight given to the questions concerning communication and care provided by the health care providers and staff, overall facility’s rating, patients’ recommendations and pre- and post-surgical coordination.
