Clallam PUD commissioner elected as chair of Energy Northwest board

CARLSBORG — Clallam Public Utility District Commissioner Will Purser was elected to chair the Energy Northwest Executive Board at an Aug. 25 board meeting.

Purser has served on the PUD board of commissioners since 2001 and has sat on the Energy Northwest board since 2010.

Energy Northwest provides clean energy generation solutions from hydro, solar, battery storage, wind and nuclear projects it owns, according to a PUD press release.

“As a member utility, Clallam PUD customers benefit in receiving power from a utility that is over 95 percent sourced from clean energy generation,” Purser said.
