Al Chrisman has retired from Sequim Public Works.

Chrisman retires after 36 years at Sequim Public Works

SEQUIM — The city of Sequim announced that Al Chrisman has retired after more than 36 years with the Public Works.

Chrisman started driving a garbage truck for the city in 1983 and began to operate the wastewater treatment plant in 1987.

He has been the lead operator at the plant since 1996.

David Garlington, director of Public Works, said: “Sequim has been fortunate to have Al’s experience for so long. We thank him for his service and wish him a happy retirement.”
