PORT ANGELES — Doc Reiss, managing broker with Town & Country Real Estate, has been awarded the Certified Residential Specialist Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.
Realtors who receive the designation have completed advanced professional training and demonstrated outstanding professional achievement in residential real estate, according to a news release.
About 29,000 Realtors nationwide have earned the credential.

PORT LUDLOW — Julie Hatch, former Port Ludlow Sound Community Bank branch manager, has been promoted to the role of North Olympic Peninsula business development officer.
The position partners with the three Peninsula branches in Port Angeles, Port Ludlow and Sequim to develop new business relationships while fostering existing relationships, according to a news release.
Hatch brings 34 years of banking experience in roles spanning from teller to management.
