A tsunami alert siren in the public parking lot at First and Lincoln streets in downtown Port Angeles sounded during Thursday’s Great ShakeOut earthquake drill. (Keith Thorpe/Peninsula Daily News)
A shed fire was extinguished early Friday morning. Chief Jake Patterson said firefighters knocked down the flames in about 10 minutes. The district responded with two fire engines, one ambulance and two chief officers.
