The 41,000-square-foot structure which will include an art gallery, performance hall, conference center and coffee shop, was scheduled to be completed by summer 2021, will be put on a construction hold in January as organizers attempt to secure more funding to complete the project after previous fundraising projections fell short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Crews install plate glass windows on the northeast face of the new Field Arts & Events Hall at the Port Angeles Waerfront Center on Tuesday.
